Police started an investigation July 31 after a tipster informed them that the woman, was trying to have her husband killed.
An undercover police officer posing as a hit man met with Dippolito. Police taped the meetings.
At the faked crime scene, Dippolito sobbed, appearing inconsolable with grief. But Michael Dippolito wasn't dead; he was hidden away as investigators showed his wife a fake crime scene before arresting her.
They taped the notification, do you see any hotspots?◦

Hi- It seems to me that she goes immediately into the type of out of breath sobbing/wailing that usually would occur after someone had been crying for a long time. Eyes for Lies has described it as the way children sound after they've been crying for awhile and some deceptive adults think it is the way they should cry. She shows no shock, doesn't ask if they're sure it's him or if she can see him. I would!
Also, no tears.
I am also interested in the reactions of the police officers, especially the one in the foreground when he turns to look at the camera. His expression shows some discomfort with this scene. Also, the way he grasps her arm to lead her off- not comforting her. The officer in the background has an expression that I wouldn't think he would have if he didn't know she wasn't really distraught- subtle disgust, maybe? He also covers his mouth a one point. What do you think about the scene as a whole?
