When we physically ache from a headache, we will often attempt to reduce the stress by rubbing on our temples.

We will also do this subconsciously when we are under stress and are thinking about something difficult to comprehend.

Physically there could be increased blood pressure and high heart rates and our bodies recognize the stress and we rub our temples.

It also allows a certain amount of eye blocking.

Notice the person in the background with their hand covering the mouth.

Emotionally charged moment.◦

Usually sadness; always negative; when not clearly sadness it can be done when considering something (that the person does not want to think about).◦

Good Quote

Couple with real estate agent

So I stumbled upon a article about lying in real estate and liked what they were saying about gestures:

"Liars don't rehearse their gestures -- just their words. The cognitive load is huge on them when they're trying to appear sincere, so it's harder for them to control their bodies. That translates into significant giveaway behaviors -- like freezing the upper body, lowering the voice or slowing the breathing. Watch closely what happens when you ask about that just-materialized rival's offer."

Most Amazing Facial Expression of the 2010 Year- Subtle Amusement

NAANTALI, FINLAND. JULY 21, 2010. Russian president Dmitry Medvedev and Finland's president Tarja Halonen walking on the premises of the Kultaranta, the summer residence of the President of Finland.

I look at a great deal of images and this one is a gem! It is the 1 in every 10,000 where we can clearly see the emotion, yet it is not clearly documented in the facial expressions field. Part of it is the amusement is mostly seen in the eyes, the way there is a certain intensity and closing of the eyelids to focus attention. There is the subtle way the lips are clearly downward, but yet at the same time turning upward; and pulled back forming the lines on the side of his cheeks. Everything is subtle, but there is nothing subtle about his emotion.◦

How to Wave, Finger Position

REFILE- CORRECTING THE IDENTIFICATION OF THE VIETNAMESE DELEGATE Turkey's Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan (L), India's Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Vietnam's Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and France's President Nicolas Sarkozy (front) gesture during a group photo at the G20 Summit in Toronto June 27, 2010. Turkey's Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan (L), India's Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Vietnam's Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and France's President Nicolas Sarkozy (front) gesture during a group photo at the G20 Summit in Toronto June 27, 2010.

Notice the two people in the above photo, the fingers should be together when when waving. If they are not together the gesture appear less genuine and "together."

Now you should also have your palm face the person you are waving to...◦
