Matching and Mirroring

When one person matches or mirrors another person's body language it automatically places the two in sync and establishes rapport. Discreetly copying someone else's body language is the best way to create and maintain rapport- you cross your arms and I'll cross my arms. If you are in sync with someone else, you can then uncross your arms- to appear more open- and if they follow suit then you have established a unconscious bond.◦
