See how Richard is raising his checks, this is a protective facial expression. It is something we unconsciously do to protect our eyes. Likely this is one of those old gestures that even cave men did when faced with possible danger of being attacked. While he likely is about to be attacked by the media without better stories to cover, you will see this at times when a physical assault is not even possible in your everyday lives if you are on the lookout for it. The grimace is unmistakable.◦

Quick question. Is the smile, on the wife, a happy or nervous one?
Happy, as I looked through the photos of the day she is seen with this smile often. He never once had a facial expression that suggested he was happy with the publicity- but he fooled some of the best 'people readers' in the field in the past...
