Thank you for daily dose nonverbal explanations.

I have a question about licking the lips. When watching a recent reality tv show, I noticed that an African American man quickly licked his upper lip upon seeing a very beautiful woman - although his facial expression appeared to be neutral. What is the basis of this from a mating/dating body language perspective?

When you lick you lips when looking at another- that you are interested in- it is because you want that part of yourself touched... it basically is a self kiss and a serious sign of sexual interest.

It is not pacifying at all.

There have been several news stories about Wyclef Jean's Haiti charity not being legitimate and allegations that he is taking money from it.

Wyclef put out a video refuting the accusations today. At first I thought he was being honest, but then he started covering his mouth, touching his face, and being evasive in some of the things he said. What do you think?

I got the impression that he was lying. I would be very interested in your thoughts on the video.
